  • In the meantime, a butter paper is placed on the cake container. If butter paper is not available, then a little butter or oil is spread on the container, thus greasing the container. Next, some flour is sprinkled over the greased portion of the container, and then the container is inverted so that the extra flour falls off.   • Now this empty cake container (in which later the dough mixture would be put), is placed on a little stand put inside the cooker body.   • Once the cooker body gets hot then the lid is opened and the previously prepared mixture for cake preparation is transferred into the cake container. The lid of the cooker is closed and the contents allowed to cook for 40 minutes.

  • Later the lid of the cooker is removed. The border areas of the cake prepared are examined to check if it has got detached or separated from the body of the cake container (which indicates that the cooking is complete). Another technique to assess the completion of the preparative process is to insert a long needle into the body of the cake & take it out slowly. If the needle comes out dry with no material sticking to its surface that means the cake is ready.   • In case the cake is not yet completely ready then the cake containing container is replaced back into the cooker and the lid closed. The baking of the cake is continued for another 5 to 10 minutes. Later the cake container is taken out of the cooker. Afterward, the cake is once again checked for completeness of the cooking process as mentioned previously. It should be ready by now. The container is taken out from the cooker and the contents (including the cake) is allowed to cool in normal room temperature.

 

  • Once done, a plate is placed on the cake container and the container is inverted (it is made upside-down). The cake should easily come out from the cake container and would be replaced on the plate. The prepared cake is now cut to size, depending on the desired size.
